When the PTZ camera is completely inactive and fails to rotate, first check whether the decoder outputs the normal working voltage (24V or 220V). If the power supply is normal, you can directly power the UP and DOWN control wires of the PTZ camera to test whether it can run manually.

Make sure to check if the power supply interface is connected incorrectly. Old-style decoders require the PTCOM wire to be directly connected to the PTZ camera. Most new PTZ cameras now adopt independent power supply interfaces, and wrong wiring will directly cause the equipment to malfunction. If the circuit connection is correct but the PTZ camera still does not work, the motor is most likely faulty, and you need to contact the manufacturer for repair.
