When selecting a PTZ camera, load capacity and operating voltage are the key indicators that need to be focused on:
Load Matching:
- Indoor PTZ cameras have a load capacity of 1.5–7kg, while outdoor models have 7–50kg. Side-mounted PTZs have higher load capacity than top-mounted ones, and high-speed PTZs have lower load capacity than ordinary ones.
- Overload operation will directly cause motor damage, so the selection should be based on the total weight of the camera and protective cover.

Voltage Adaptation:
- The common power supply voltages are AC24V or AC220V. Misuse of voltage will easily burn out the decoder.
- Small PTZ cameras (such as infrared remote control models) can be powered by DC6V, which is suitable for flexible installation scenarios.
Reasonable matching of load and voltage is the basic premise for the long-term stable operation of PTZ cameras.
